Met with the UPS Foundation this week and while they didn't say "no" to a grant, they can not provide a large grant as their Clean Water focus has shifted to Clean Air (makes sense).
Also met with Adedgetechnologies.com VP - meeting was excellent! They are doing great things in the area of water purification (based here in ATL but a broad customer base). Hopefully they will sponsor at least one well in the near future through charity: water. (Thanks for the advice and contacts Greg!)

I am meeting with one of the leadership team members from my girls’ elementary school hopefully tomorrow to discuss signing up water-for-schools. She seems very interested so I am excited. Don’t have a contact at the Jr. High yet – working on it.
ReplyDeleteCalled my buddy Andrew in the band Elevation. He suggested they could do a show at the end of January and recommends we get about 4 other bands and have a blow out bash. I have more band connections than venue connections so I have to learn that scene and game yet.
Had another work session with Ken (my video guy) tonight. It went well but we’re still a long way from shoot.
Ordered business cards from zazzle (http://www.zazzle.com) today. What a cool site. I plan to explore more.
